Ms. Disparte serves in an Of Counsel position with Pearson, Butler & Carson, PLLC, where her practice centers on representing individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Utah State Tax Commission (USTC).
Ms. Disparte has worked with a wide variety of clients on civil tax controversy cases including offers in compromise, installment agreements, audits, payroll tax liabilities, penalty abatements, and streamlined offshore disclosures.
Prior to joining Pearson, Butler & Carson, PLLC, Ms. Disparte practiced in the field of estate planning at MacArthur Heder & Metler. She also worked for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at the J. Reuben Clark Law School where she was a manager of research. As part of her first-year research fellowship with the Center, Ms. Disparte worked in the Office of General Counsel for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she drafted legal memorandum on tax procedures in over one hundred countries.
Ms. Disparte currently serves as Chair of the Tax Section for the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
